Social Media for Libraries and Archives

For most of us, social media falls into the “Other Duties as Assigned” part of our job description. Finding a few minutes throughout your week to help craft a social media calendar can help you make sure there is always new content posted, even on days that you are completely swamped. This webinar will look at social media in libraries and archives, specifically Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

In this session, you’ll learn about:

● Social media calendars

● Free online tools to make your social media easier to create and manage

● Common hashtags to follow or participate in

● The Libraries of Instagram community
