Trina McCowan Adams is the Director of Library Services at Flagler College's Proctor Library. Previously, she managed Florida State College at Jacksonville's Library & Learning Commons and served as Assessment Librarian at the University of North Florida. These roles deepened her data-informed practice and her commitment to libraries as transformative campus infrastructure. With nearly two decades in academic library management, Trina's interests span the ethical adoption of AI, data-informed library services, OER, and biophilic design. Her current work sits at the intersection of user experience, evidence-based design, and student well-being. She has become a passionate advocate for biophilic design as a framework for reimagining library spaces, leading a whole-building design transformation at Proctor Library that includes the Robbins Serenity Garden Reading Room. She has shared her research and practice at ALA, FACRL, and beyond.
